About the media ace awards

The exchange4media Media ACE Awards is an attempt to recognize the agency professionals for the work they have done and for their contribution to their companies and to the Indian industry at large. In its inaugural year, e4m Media ACE Awards would begin with Media Service Brands. The award winning work will demonstrate leadership and direction that has helped in molding the Indian Media Industry.

Purpose

The Indian media industry has grown significantly over the last decade. Much credit goes to the professionals of this domain, whose vision has helped structure this space and its various facets.

Global counterparts are looking at Indian minds today for leadership and direction. As an industry, today there is a need to recognise and award the Indian Media Agency Professional – to foster the growth of these professionals and hence the industry; to celebrate achievements of today and to ensure strong leaders of tomorrow.

Every year, the media service brands employs, trains and creates leaders who contribute to the Indian communication industry on the whole. Media agencies have turned to be catchment areas for clients and media owners as well in the last few years.

Categories

The Awards categories reflect strategic objectives that are common to all organisations. Your submissions will be judged against the achievements of all types of business – rather than just those of direct competitors in your industry sector.

Entrants should provide independent and robust data that supports the claims made. The judges will give more weight to quantitative data and comparable trend data over time. Key measures which should ideally be included are sales, profit, market share and customer attitudes.

Rules & Regulations

  • Entries in all categories are open to all Indian languages and English.
  • All entries MUST be submitted in the original language of the work. However, in case of the Original Work accomplished in language other than English or Hindi, the Entrant needs to submit an English Language Translation of the Work.
  • Each entry should be accompanied by a testimonial or reference from client to aid the jury.
  • Each entry should provide the volume of media handled by the agency, which should be written on company letterhead and signed by CEO or MD of the organization
  • The submission of the Entry Form assumes that entrants have carefully read the terms and other information and agree to abide by them.
  • The Media ACE Awards will focus on the media service brands only. Mainline agencies such as Advertising agencies will not be a part of the awards
  • The entry submitted must have been released/ submitted/ published for the first time to the public between 1st April 2014 to 28th February2015.The last date of submitting Nominations is 5th March 2015
  • Adsert Web Solutions Limited (Organizer of these awards) may refuse Entries which offend national or religious sentiments or public taste.
  • The organizers may contact the client related to any entry at the request of the jury at any time during the voting process should any questions about the implementation or presentation of the work arise.
  • The Organizers will endeavor to move entries to more appropriate categories if necessary.
  • All entry forms must be completed online at http://www.e4mevents.com/mediaaceawards2015
  • Entries will not be considered completed until the compulsory documents have been uploaded online.
  • All information in the entries must be submitted for judging exactly as it is, and may not be modified for awards entry.
  • Entries which are not prepared using the specific template may be disqualified.
  • Entries need to be submitted online with all the relevant Details that are being asked for. The Organizers will not be responsible for any incorrect or incomplete information.
  • A creative URL is MANDATORY. However a physical CD of the Work must also be sent along at the address mentioned below with a Covering Letter giving details of the Award Entry. Sonia Mehendiratta, exchange4media B-20, Sector-57, Noida-201301 Uttar Pradesh, India.
  • The PowerPoint and/or any other Image or AV of the Work needs to be uploaded through YouTube or Google Docs and the URL needs to be provided on the Reference Material URL Field. In case of an AV, the File Size should not exceed 2-3 Minutes or 2 MB maximum, whichever is applicable or both.

    Collate information and media for submission and paste your submission in the respective fields.

Entry Requirements
  • Completed Online Entry Form
  • Agency Name, Nominee’s Name (if relevant to category)
  • Online Submission of a 2000-word (excluding number of words in template; i.e. 300 word for each criteria).
  • Support materials link through Google Drive / YouTube.

Written Entry
The Written entry for all categories must be submitted on the specified category entry template in no more than 500 words for each criteria (excluding number of words in template) The Written Entry for all the categories should be focused on the following judging criteria:

  • Client Retention
    *Number of Client Retained within a period of April 1st 2014 and 28th March 2015
  • New Business Wins (Business Development)
    *New Business Wins within a period of April 1st 2014 and 28th March 2015
  • People Retention
    *Number of People retained within a period of April 1st 2014 and 28th March 2015
  • Volume of Media Handled
    *Volume of Media Handled would refer to the following:
    • No. of Spots in a year
    • Total Digital Impressions in a Year
    • Total number of Ad. Impressions in a year
    • No. of Channels/Newspapers/Outdoor, used in a year
*All materials remain confidential to the judges but the organizer reserves the right to retain entries for subsequent publication.
