The show should be of minimum 20 minutes duration (including commercials). It could be in the form of on-the-spot reportage, background reports, interviews and/or panel discussions.
102. Best Business ProgrammeTo be awarded to a show that features business news or analysis of business events. Open to entries from General News Channels and Business News Channels.
103. Best Talk ShowTo be awarded to the best discussion show pertaining to news and current affairs. It can include a one-on-one talk or a public debate.
104. Best In-depth SeriesTo be awarded to the best coverage of a single subject. It can be a special report, in-depth coverage of a subject, a documentary or a series that provides background and understanding of a specific news event.
105. Best In-Show GraphicsTo be awarded to a show which demonstrates the best use of in-show graphics that enhance the visual content of a programme.
106. Best News Coverage – NationalTo be awarded to the best coverage of a major news event in India.
107. Best News Coverage – International(Open only to the Indian news channels.) To be awarded to the best coverage of a major news story that has developed or is developing outside India.

203. Best Continuing Coverage by a ReporterTo be awarded for a reporter's effort demonstrated by continued coverage of a news story over an extended period of time.
204. Best Videographer To be awarded to a videographer who has done outstanding work in capturing footage and action. He or she should have produced extraordinary content that may have required both skill and courage.
205. Best Video EditorTo be awarded for outstanding editing skills and efforts of a video editor to provide a visually enhanced narrative.

403. Best Channel Marketing To be awarded to the best marketing strategy adopted by a news channel for marketing its brand or a show or an activity.
404. Best Channel or Programme PromoTo be awarded to the most creative on-air commercial for a news channel or a show or an activity.

502. Young Professional of the Year – Business To be awarded to an enterprising and influential young business executive who is less than 30 years of age and who has most significantly challenged the industry norms, benchmarks and practices through his or her performance.
503. News Channel of the Year To be awarded to the news channel with the best news reporting and programming through the year.
504. News Television CEO of the Year To be awarded to the Promoter, Managing Director/CEO/COO of a news channel or a network, who has demonstrated vision, outstanding business performance and leadership as well as gained confidence of stakeholders.

News Television Editor-in-Chief of the YearTo be awarded to the editorial head of a news channel who has spearheaded excellence in news programming and has made an enduring difference in improving the television news industry. The person maybe the Editor-in-Chief, News Editor, Managing Editor, News Director, Editor or at a similar level.
506. Lifetime Achievement Award (To be nominated by the Jury. Entries not invited.) To be awarded to a veteran of the Indian News Television Industry who has made the most significant and lasting contribution to the news television craft and business.
