There will be two awards (Gold and Silver) in each category except category 1 and 2.

1. Pitch Youth Marketer of the Year

This category cannot be entered directly. The winners will be decided based on the weightage (in order of Gold and Silver) of the overall awards won.

2. Pitch Youth Agency of the Year

This category cannot be entered directly. The winners will be the agency of the brand which wins 'youth Marketer of the Year'.

3. Most Effective Digital Media Strategy

Awarded to the campaign that demonstrates effective use of Digital Media in form of social media, online advertising, videos, viral campaign, etc. The criteria for judgment: Achievement of campaign objective, Engagement (Participation from consumers, Quantity and quality of participation and social sharing metrics for eg. FB share, likes, comments, tweet etc), Lead generation and impact on sale.

4. Most Effective Activation Strategy

Awarded to the campaign that demonstrates effective use of Activations in form of on-ground activities engaging consumers. On ground The criteria for judgment: Achievement of campaign objective, Engagement (Participation from consumers, Quantity and quality of participation and social sharing metrics for eg. FB share, likes, comments, tweet etc), Lead generation/conversions and impact on sale.

5. Most Effective Sponsorship & Branded Content

Awarded to the campaign that most effectively uses sponsorship (on-air or off-air) and/or event marketing to provide a brand experience to the consumers. Entries can include tie-up with television or radio content, sports event for TV associations, AFPs etc. The criteria for judgment: Achievement of campaign objective, Engagement (Participation from consumers, Quantity and quality of participation and sharing metrics), achievement of campaign objective, Lead generation/conversions and impact on sale.

6. Best Sustained Youth Brand Campaign

Awarded to the campaign that demonstrates how a single strategy has had the most effective long-term impact on the growth of a brand. The campaign strategies must span at least 3 years. The criteria for judgment: impact on brand equity, brand awareness, brand preference and Sales over 3 years.

7. Best Usage Of A Celebrity Brand Endorser

Awarded to a campaign or marketing initiative which demonstrates most effective use of a celebrity for the brand campaign or activity. The criteria for judgment will be: Celebrity-brand fit, brand awareness, engagement, impact on sales/trials.

8. Most Innovative Youth Product/Service Launch Of The Year

Awarded to a new product or service launched which which was based on an innovative youth insight and created significant brand affinity amongst the consumers. The criteria for judgment: Innovative youth insight used in the product/service, affinity generated amongst youth consumers, sales.

9. Boldest Youth Brand Of The Year

Awarded to a brand launched which did something very disruptive in the market in terms of a small player taking a big player head on, bold campaign, usage of language in a never before way, low budget high impact campaign etc. The criteria for judgment: Disruption, bold usage of language in brand campaign or activity, achievement of campaign objective.

10. Best Media Youth Brand

Awarded to the media brand (Electronic, Print, Radio, Outdoor or Digital) that has the strongest brand connect amongst youth. The criteria for Judgment: Brand connect, brand recall, brand performance (Ratings, readership, listenership etc.) and sales.

11. Pitch Young Marketer Of The Year (Below 30 Years)

Awarded to a young marketing professional (under 30 years) like brand manager, VP Marketing, category head etc.. who has played a key role in devising strategy for a youth brand. These will work on nominations by their superiors or boss. The criteria for judgement: the strategy, the insight behind the strategy and impact of the strategy on the brand.
