This category cannot be entered directly. The winners will be decided based on the weightage (in order of Gold and Silver) of the overall awards won.


2. PITCH YOUTH AGENCY OF THE YEAR (Advertising)
This category cannot be entered directly. The winners will be the agency of the brand which wins 'youth Marketer of the Year'. 

3. MOST EFFECTIVE DIGITAL MEDIA STRATEGY FOR THE YOUTH
Awarded to the campaign that demonstrates effective use of Digital Media, which includes social media, online advertising, videos, viral campaign, etc.

The criteria for judgment:

  • Achievement of campaign objective
  • Engagement (Participation from consumers, Quantity and quality of participation).
  • Social sharing metrics for eg. FB share, likes, comments, tweets etc.
  • Lead generation and impact on sale. 

4. MOST INNOVATIVE YOUTH PRODUCT/SERVICE LAUNCH OF THE YEAR
Awarded to a new product or service launched which was based on an innovative youth insight and created significant brand affinity amongst the consumers.

The criteria for judgment:

  • Innovative youth insight used in the product/service
  • affinity generated amongst youth consumers
  • Actual Sales. 
     

5. BEST MEDIA YOUTH BRAND
Awarded to the media brand (Electronic, Print, Radio, Outdoor or Digital) that has the strongest brand connect amongst youth.

The criteria for Judgment:

  • Brand connect with youth.
  • Brand recall.
  • Brand performance (Ratings, readership, listenership etc.)
  • Actual Sales.

6. BEST CAMPAIGN WITH A SOCIAL MESSAGE FOR THE YOUTH
Awarded to a brand campaign (Television, print, online, on-ground) which sent a positive social message to the youth.

The criteria for judgment:

  • Brand recall
  • The message
  • Brand performance

7. BEST USE OF UNCONVENTIONAL MEDIA FOR A YOUTH BRAND
Television, Print,  Facebook , Twitter are conventional media for this category. Any media used other than these would be deemed unconventional.

The criteria for judgment:

  • Innovative thinking
  • Effectiveness
  • Youth appeal

8. BEST TRENDSETTER YOUTH BRAND OF THE YEAR
This category invites entries from those youth brands that have launched a product or service or campaign that others have started following. Examples need to be clearly cited about other brands adopting the trend.

The criteria for judgment:

  • Brand recall
  • The trend set

9. BEST DISRUPTIVE YOUTH BRAND OF THE YEAR
Any campaign, product or service launch that deliberately goes against the tide to get noticed, can enter.

The criteria for judgment:

  • Creativity
  • Effectiveness
  • Popularity amongst the youth

10. BEST GREEN YOUTH BRAND
Entries are invited from youth brands that have launched any green initiatives. The initiatives could range from campaigns with a “green” message, to a product that is environment friendly, to a service that aims to help the environment. CSR initiatives can be included.

The criteria for judgment:

  • Innovation
  • Brand recall
  • Effectiveness of initiative

11. BEST USAGE OF A BRAND AMBASSADOR BY A YOUTH BRAND
The age of the brand ambassador for the youth brand should not exceed 45 years.

The criteria for judgment:

  • Effectiveness of the ambassador
  • Brand recall
  • Brand performance

12. NOMINATION BY OTHERS

Pitch Young Marketer Of The Year (Below 30 Years)

Awarded to a young marketing professional (under 30 years) like brand manager, VP Marketing, category head etc.. who has played a key role in devising strategy for a youth brand. These will work on nominations by their superiors or boss. The criteria for judgement: the strategy, the insight behind the strategy and impact of the strategy on the brand.
