Gaurav Jeet Singh is Head Media Services- South Asia at Unilever. He was the Marketing Manager on Pureit before moving into his current role. Gaurav has extensive experience in Brand Building, Sales and Business Development. In his Sales and Marketing roles at HUL he has worked on various brands; which include- Pureit, Dove, Axe, Lakme and Pond’s. Gaurav is an alumnus of the Indian School Of Business and had been an entrepreneur before joining ISB. Before his entrepreneurial venture Gaurav did a sales stint at L’Oreal.

L V Krishnan

L V Krishnan joined TAM in October 2000 and his team’s focus has been on developing TAM as key information input while strategizing a Brand’s communication plan in the Indian Media industry. LV’s background stretches to almost 2 decades post joining the stream of Indian Media community. His experience has stretched across Mediacom (Grey India), JWT & Starcom, working with clients like P&G, Unilever Personal Products, Bayer, Bajaj, Godrej etc. In his stint in Starcom, his work on Coke went on to win the Starcom’s most prestigious global media award, “North Star”. Over these years in TAM, he and his team has presented their selected Research paper on “Breaking Program Loyalty” in ESOMAR conferences in Tokyo as well as in Montreal, Canada on “Reincarnating TAM Panelists”. Besides this, his team’s paper has been selected for a presentation in the forthcoming American Research Foundation worldwide conference in June 2013 in New York. He and his team together have planned & launched across years, not only a number of new customer initiatives but also new successful divisions under TAM like TAM Sports, Eikona PR Track, Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) and S-Group as a Broadcast Audience Strategy consulting arm of TAM successfully. While he continues to stretch his interest from Reading & Writing to teaching Media in various institutes, his passion for Astrophysics (the area he focused during his studies) still rules very high. Today, looking back at the last two decades, including 13 years in TAM, it has certainly been an experience full of fun, challenges, innovations and a lot of dare devil acts.

Madan Mohapatra

Madan Mohapatra Started as a Research Executive, Madan has worked in multiple domains across Market Research, Television Production & Marketing, Media Planning & Buying, Business Analytics, Marketing and Customer Strategy in last 19 years. He has worked on the three sides of the business i.e. Media Owner like Cinema Vision India (Surabhi), Media Agency like FCB Ulka, Starcom Mediavest Group, The Media Edge, Mudra and Client like Future Group. He is also heads Media for the group and the concept lead for the most innovative and India’s first pre-paid loyalty programme "Big Bazaar Profit club"

Madhukar Sabnavis

Madhukar started his advertising career with Clarion Advertising in 1985 and moved to Ogilvy & Mather in 1988. He currently looks after consumer knowledge and brand planning in India.

In the last 26 years, he has worked on a number of national and multinational clients. He has also helped create a new agency brand for O&M India - Brand David - in the Indian advertising market space. He has been associated with creative campaigns for many brands including Asian Paints, Cadbury, Coca Cola, ITC, Star, Titan, Unilever, Yum Foods, to name a few. Under his leadership of planning in India, O&M has become the most awarded Indian agency at the Indian Effies and Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards, thus conquering the twin peaks of advertising – creativity and effectiveness.

He is an active member of a number of industry organizations – Advertising Agencies Association of India and The Advertising Club, Mumbai and a regular speaker at industry forums. An avid writer, he contributes a monthly column on the editorial page of Business Standard. Besides writing and advertising, his passions are cricket, Hindi movies and teaching.

His latest contribution to the industry was the launch of the NISSAN compact SUV-TERRANIO using only the Digital Medium as a vehicle to create more than 6500 pre bookings even before the formal launch of the product. He very recently revolutionalized the automobile retail arena once again by ‘booking NISSAN cars’ on line.

Rajendra Khare

A second-generation entrepreneur, Rajendra Khare earlier founded a semi-conductor start-up Armedia Labs that developed the world’s first single chip HDTV/MPEG Decoder. It was acquired by Broadcom Corporation in 1999 for $67 million.

He served as Managing Director, Broadcom India, where his team went on to develop a series of digital video products that command a dominant share of the worldwide market. He has also held leadership positions earlier at Arcus Technology, Wipro and Tata R&D Labs.

Raj led an industry wide initiative to form India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) in 2004 and served as its founding Chairperson. He was also instrumental in setting up Oysters Lab (OLAB) – a state of the art VLSI design lab at his alma mater BITS Pilani and was involved in establishment of Orchid Techscape - an incubator for technology and product start-ups at STPI, Bangalore.

An Electrical & Electronics Engineer from BITS, Pilani, Raj has filed more than 30 US patents for innovative technology and was awarded both the Udyog Rattan Award and Bharat Gaurav Award as recognition for his pioneering work in the field.
