Submission Requirements

  • A write up no longer than one side of an A4 size paper in no less than 10-point size Arial font.
  • One mp3 file of no longer than 5 minutes duration containing any or all of the following: Commercials, RJ Links, Excerpts of Programme, Contests, OB Links, Vox Pops.
  • Evidence of Effectiveness as per the Award Objective.

E101 Best Use of Radio

To recognize an advertising or a promotional activity on radio that has shown a measurable or proven impact on a client's business in terms of consumer behavior, brand image, sales or any other standard measure.

E102 Best Use of Radio for a Launch

To recognize effectiveness of an advertising or a promotional activity on radio that has been used for the launch of a new product or service.

E103 Best Use of Radio for Long Term Effectiveness

To recognize effectiveness of an advertising or a promotional activity on radio which has run for a minimum of three years including the period August 01, 2010 up to July 31, 2011 with proof that radio was key to the activity's success.

E104 Best Use of Branded Content or Sponsorship on Radio

To recognize innovation and effectiveness of a branded or sponsored radio programme featuring content creation, product placement or product association

Creativity

Judging Criteria

  • Quality of Writing (10 Points)
  • Quality of production (10 Points)
  • Originality of Idea (10 Points)
  • Strength of Brand Integration (10 Points)
  • Sales Message (10 Points)

Submission Requirements

  • For Best Campaign Award: 2 to 5 Commercials of no longer than 90 seconds duration each in mp3 format.
  • For Single Commercial Awards: One Commercial of no longer than 90 seconds duration in mp3 format.
  • Please ensure every entry is introduced with a voice over announcing the category number and entry name.
  • One JPEG file each of the names of the entrant agency or station and the advertised brand.
  • Any other information you wish to summit must not be longer than one side of an A4 size paper in no less than 10-point size Arial font.

  • Degree and levels of listener reaction and involvement (10 Points)
  • Campaign Idea, Objectives, Background & Context (10 Points)
  • Evidence of Effectiveness for the Radio Station/Network of Radio Stations or the Client or both (20 Points)

Submission Requirements

  • A write up no longer than one side of an A4 size paper in no less than 10-point size Arial font covering details of the idea or campaign, including objectives, background and context of the concept, and any supporting print material.
  • One mp3 file of no longer than 5 minutes duration containing audio elements of the promotion idea including trailers, adlibs, execution elements and listener participation and interaction.
  • Evidence of Effectiveness as per the respective Award Objective(s).

To recognize excellence in radio promotion for an idea or concept that makes the most effective and creative use of radio for a client on a single station.

P319 Best On-Ground Promotion for a Client (Single Location)

To recognize excellence in the use of radio for an on-ground promotion for a client at a single location.

Submission Requirement

  • A write up no longer than one side of an A4 size paper in no less than 10-point size Arial font explaining how it served your audience and met your objectives. This should state when the entry was first broadcast.
  • One mp3 file of no longer than 15 minutes duration containing a selection of highlights from a single show or a selection taken from a range of shows across the award year (01 August 2010 to 31 July 2011)
  • One JPEG file of the name of the company.

I427 Best Use of Radio in Media Plan

Brands that have used sponsorship in a unique manner that.

Most cutting edge programming idea that was original and delivered quantifiable/visible gains in listernership for the radio station.

Agency that gets the highest points from awards in the Effectiveness and Promotion categories.

X532 Radio Advertising Agency of the Year

Agency that gets the highest points from awards in the Creativity and Promotion sections.  10 points for first position, 7 points for second position and 5 points for third position.
