Sanjiv Mehta who took over as the CEO and Managing Director of HUL in October 2013 has completed more than 25 years with the company leading the Unilever busisness across different parts of the world. Under his leadership Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), the country’s largest consumer packaged goods maker, has added close to Rs 12,000 crore in incremental turnover over the past five years as it battled two years of drought and rising competition from new entrants. Mehta is on the South Asia Advisory Board of Harvard Business School. He is also on the Indian Advisory Boards of Enactus, HSBC’s ‘Skills for Life’ and Xnteo’s ‘India 2022’ coalition.
